Brinks Home is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot issues, replace components, and demonstrate system operation to customers.

The role requires traveling to homes, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasionally climbing ladders or working in crawlspaces, attics, and basements. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Knowledge of how an alarm system operates and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces (crawlspaces, attics, basements).
• Low-voltage certification or alarm installation certification; NICET I preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot problems, replace components and test operations.
• Drive to customer homes; lift up to 30 pounds; climb and balance as needed.
• Provide customer education and system demonstrations.
• Perform site walkthroughs to ensure the system meets customer needs and expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site; promote safety practices.
