Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect security equipment at customer sites. This hands-on role emphasizes visiting homes, testing systems, and ensuring reliable protection for families.

You will troubleshoot panels from major brands, train customers on operation, and document work orders while maintaining safety and quality standards. A valid license and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate at heights and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Experience with alarm systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot alarm panels such as: 2GIG, Qolsys, Ademco, GE, DSC, DMP.
• Drive to customer homes and perform site visits; maintain safety.
• Educate customers and demonstrate system operation.
• Identify improvements to enhance system use.
• Maintain organized job sites and ensure customer satisfaction.
