Brinks Home is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot issues, replace components, and demonstrate system operation to customers.

The role involves travel to homes, safety-conscious work, and educating clients on optimal system use. Strong knowledge of alarm panels and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Working knowledge of how alarm systems operate.
• Must be willing to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification.
• NICET I certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage electronic security equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and replace system components as needed (panels, devices, alarms).
• Drive to customer homes and perform service with safety in mind.
• Provide system demonstrations and educate customers on usage.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to confirm work orders meet customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure customer satisfaction.
