Job summary

Prairieland FS is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver and apply crop protection inputs to fields with safety and accuracy. You will communicate sales leads to the Location Manager and work under supervision of the Location Manager/Crop Specialist. A CDL may be required within six months.

Overtime and bonuses may apply as noted in the pay range. Under the location manager, you will operate and maintain agricultural application equipment, calibrate for proper rates, and keep detailed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training a plus.
• Experience in agricultural application or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of crop protection products and equipment operation preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture tech a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mix and apply crop protection inputs according to labels and record data.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild application equipment and vehicles.
• Calibrate equipment for accurate application.
• Collect soil samples and report results.
• Deliver products to customers and follow safety protocols.
• Track inventory and manage crop application records.
