Job summary

Prairieland FS in the United States is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver crop protection inputs in the field while maintaining safety and accuracy. You will communicate sales leads and support field operations under supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Under the Location Manager's guidance, you will calibrate equipment, log application data, manage inventory, and uphold high standards of customer service and teamwork throughout the season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy or agriculture training is a plus.
• Experience in agricultural application or related field preferred; agronomy/precision agriculture a plus.
• Strong understanding of crop protection products, agronomy, and equipment operation preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mix and apply crop production inputs per label rates and record data.
• Maintain, repair, and operate field equipment including sprayers and spreaders.
• Calibrate equipment for accurate application rates.
• Maintain detailed crop application records and inventory with invoices or delivery tickets.
• Deliver products to customers and pursue sales leads.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements in all tasks.
