Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver and apply crop protection products in the Pilot Grove, MO area. You will support field operations, calibrate equipment, and collect data to ensure accurate application and regulatory compliance.

The role requires knowledge of agronomy practices, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with agricultural equipment. Training and development opportunities are provided as part of our commitment to employee growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training or certification a plus.
• Experience in agricultural application or related field preferred; agronomy or precision agriculture experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of crop protection inputs, agronomy practices and equipment operation preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture technology a plus.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Mixes products and applies crop inputs to fields following labels and regulations.
• Operate and maintain agricultural application equipment (sprayers, spreaders) safely.
• Calibrate equipment for accurate application rates based on field conditions.
• Record application data and report sales leads to Location Manager and Crop Specialist.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and manage crop application records daily.
