Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. in the United States is seeking a field-focused professional to serve as the primary liaison for client issues and to manage vehicle reconditioning coordination.

The role blends fieldwork (70%) with in-office administrative tasks for effective client service. Responsibilities include evaluating vehicle condition, coordinating reconditioning, and educating clients on auction processes while aligning with Cox/CAI product offerings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience OR 5 years’ related experience.
• Safe drivers with valid license required.
• Experience in vehicle reconditioning or auto body knowledge.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for resolving client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex.
• Provide exceptional customer service addressing inquiries related to vehicle condition and discrepancies.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and communicate with auction departments for inventory movement.
• Prepare reconditioning estimates to improve vehicle value and coordinate services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection processes.
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox/CAI products as needed.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain professional client relationships.
• Coordinate redemptions with proper documentation and ensure compliance with PII policies.
• Adhere to Cox standards for quality and accuracy of reconditioning services.
• Follow NAAA guidelines for vehicle announcements and branding.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internal platforms.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and supporting Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
