Job summary

PeopleConnect Staffing is seeking a Business Consultant for an outside-sales role, primarily in the field, with a flexible in-office requirement. You will prospect, meet clients, and close new business while reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

This full-time position targets growth in PEO, payroll, HR tech, and related services, with an uncapped commission structure and significant OTE potential. Travel and on-site presence are required as you cultivate relationships and drive revenue.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales/business development experience in relevant industries.
• Ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the market.
• Generate leads via networking, referrals, partnerships, and self-generated opportunities.
• Build relationships with owners, executives, HR leaders and other decision-makers.
• Conduct strategic prospecting to access prospective clients and schedule initial appointments.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently create new opportunities.
• Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting through close and post-sale follow-up.
