Cytokinetics is seeking a Field Access Manager to support patient access across the New Jersey territory. This field-based role requires deep expertise in payer dynamics, prior authorization, and HUB systems, with travel across the territory to engage providers, pharmacies, and payer stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration or related field.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization workflows, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
• Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
• Ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases in a field-based or customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical access data sources and processes (claims, benefit verification, SP reporting, payer policy tracking).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to simplify complex reimbursement scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive identification and resolution of patient access barriers across payer coverage and PA workflows.
• Partner with HCP offices to support benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payer data to identify access gaps and implement improvements.
• Serve as field access SME and provide approved access education to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to improve pull-through and resolve access friction.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access barriers early.
• Monitor access KPIs and translate insights into action plans.
• Manage high-priority case escalations involving complex reimbursement issues.
• Conduct payer landscape monitoring at regional level for policy changes.
• Deliver field insights to inform access strategy and patient support programs.
• Maintain compliant CRM documentation of case activity and outcomes.
