Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare, business, or life sciences.
• Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical or healthcare experience; district management, patient access, and/or managed markets preferred.
• Experience with specialty and retail dermatology pharmacies, distribution hubs, and managed care.

Responsibilities

• Educates HCPs and key stakeholders on prior authorization requirements, coverage status, payor appeals and medical exception requirements, and funding options for uninsured/under insured; provides live education on access topics.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with HCPs and health systems to support resolution of payor criteria issues.
• Monitors in-process patient cases through a navigator portal with patient consent.
• Applies knowledge of specialty pharmacy and dermatology distribution to assist customers navigating access processes.
• Develops and implements local access strategies in collaboration with dermatology business leadership to meet KPI goals.
• Partners with compliance and legal to ensure programs are compliant with regulations and company policies.
