Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This remote role requires substantial travel to various sites, with location specifics discussed in interviews.

The position emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork, with responsibilities including completing tests, writing reports, and providing guidance to technicians and trainees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safety compliance and safe working environment.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and reports.
• Assemble, write, and review test reports.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Train and supervise Technicians and Trainees.
