Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This is a remote role with heavy travel to jobsites across the U.S.; specific location details will be discussed during the interview process.

You will follow safety procedures, document tests, collaborate with clients and teammates, and assist Trainees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and reports; generate comprehensive test reports.
