Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to capture data on-site using handheld scanners, process scans with Artec Studio, and deliver CAD-ready models and reports. You will verify data on site, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate access and safety as you travel to regional hubs and project sites.

Ideal candidates have hands-on scanner experience, CAD familiarity, and the ability to work outdoors on active construction sites with a valid driver's license and

Qualifications

Hands-on experience operating handheld scanners on real projects.
Working knowledge of Artec Studio or comparable scan-processing software.
Familiarity with CAD tools and reading drawings.
Comfortable on active construction sites and outdoors.
Valid driver's license with acceptable record.
Able to travel with equipment as needed.
Certifications like ACI, NICET, ICC are a plus and sponsorable.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of structures and components.
Process scans in Artec Studio and export to CAD formats.
Produce deviation maps, reports, and coordinate references with drawings.
Build scan-to-CAD solids or clean meshes for modeling.
Document capture procedures and ensure chain-of-custody.
