Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking skilled Tech I/II technicians to construct and repair fiberglass hulls, decks, and small parts. You’ll use gel-coat spray equipment, grinders, buffers, and drills to ensure high-quality finishes and structural integrity.

Tech I focuses on basic fabrication and finishing tasks, while Tech II requires advanced repair methods and proficiency in estimating component mixtures and temperature control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints and production schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy loads.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail to identify defects.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair fiberglass hulls, decks, and small parts.
• Use hand and specialty tools to apply finishes.
• Inspect parts and understand fiberglass finishes.
• Handle solvents, paints, putty, wax, and dispose safely.
• Follow job instructions and report progress.
• Protect boat components during finishing duties.
