Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is hiring a Finish Repair Technician to construct and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks and small parts. You will use hand tools and gel-coat spray equipment, inspect finishes and ensure structural integrity with attention to detail.

The role requires reading prints, following production schedules, and adhering to safety policies while handling solvents, paints, and wax. Opportunities exist for Tech I/II progression based on demonstrated skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred.
• Able to read and understand prints and production schedules.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy workloads.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts using hand tools and specialty equipment.
• Inspect parts and finishes; apply solvents, paints, putty, wax and maintain proper disposal practices.
• Follow job instructions and provide status updates on part completion.
• Protect boat components during finishing and ensure regulatory safety compliance.
