Job summary

Tech I and Tech II tracks require reading prints, following production schedules, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adhering to safety practices including PPE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand prints and production schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail for identifying defects and inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts.
• Use hand tools and specialty tools like gel-coat spray equipment, grinders, buffers and drills.
• Inspect parts and understand fiberglass finishes; operate abrasives as needed.
• Read prints and production schedules and report status.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
