Tech II requires advanced proficiency and successful skills testing in repair methods and gel coat work. The role involves reading prints, measuring parts, and documenting results with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred.
• Reading prints and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts using hand tools and specialty tools.
• Inspect parts and understand fiberglass finishes.
• Apply solvents, paints, putty, wax and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow job instructions and report part completion status.
• Protect boat components while finishing duties.
• Advanced duties for Tech II after proficiency.
