Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is a leading marine manufacturer seeking a Finish Repair Tech / PI (Small Parts) to construct and repair fiberglass boat components at our Vonore, TN facility. The role requires hands-on finishing with gel coat spray equipment, grinders, buffers, and drills, with strict attention to quality and safety.

The Tech I/Tech II track includes testing of gel to catalyst mixtures and defect repair methods, demanding accuracy, adherence to procedures, and ability to document results.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred.
• Ability to read prints and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Proficient with hand tools and finishing processes.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair fiberglass hulls, decks, and small parts using hand and specialty tools.
• Inspect parts and finishes; follow job instructions and report status.
• Handle solvents, paints, putty, wax; dispose properly.
• Protect components during finishing and maintain clean work area.
