Job summary

Goldshield, part of Terex Corporation, is seeking a Sander in Decatur, Indiana. The role focuses on preparing fiberglass parts by sanding gelcoat surfaces, maintaining quality, and supporting daily production in a standard 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in sanding, fiberglass, paint prep, finishing, manufacturing or production preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must complete Goldshield training certification.
• Maintain quality standards while preparing fiberglass surfaces.
• Communicate professionally and work well with others.
• Drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Sanding gelcoat surfaces to prepare parts for primer and paint application.
• Perform sanding duties while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and supplies with minimal scrap.
• Follow housekeeping and safety standards at all times.
• Support production needs across the sanding area when assigned.
