Goldshield, located in Decatur, Indiana, manufactures fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, and Daimler and is part of Terex Corporation. The Sander role focuses on preparing fiberglass surfaces, sanding gelcoat, and maintaining tools and safety practices.

The job requires up to date training, reliability, and ability to work well with team members, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime; benefits begin on day one and 401(k) with company match are available.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-year experience in sanding, fiberglass, paint prep, finishing, manufacturing, or production.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to maintain quality standards while preparing fiberglass surfaces.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work well with other employees.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Responsabilités

• Sanding gelcoat surfaces to prepare parts for primer and paint application.
• Performing sanding duties while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, materials, and supplies with minimal scrap.
• Following housekeeping and safety standards at all times.
• Supporting production needs across the sanding area when assigned.
