Job summary

Goldshield, located in Decatur, Indiana, is seeking a Cutting and Grinding Associate to manufacture fiberglass parts. The role involves cutting fiberglass to size, grinding to thickness specs, and maintaining tools and safety practices.

The position follows a Monday–Friday day schedule with potential overtime and requires passing drug/background screens. Goldshield is part of Terex Corporation and offers day-one medical, dental and vision benefits, plus a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-year experience in manufacturing, fiberglass, cutting, grinding, finishing, or production.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to safely use cut/grind tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions, maintain attendance expectations, and meet production standards.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Cutting fiberglass parts to the correct size and grinding them to required thickness specifications.
• Performing cut and grind functions while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Using and maintaining tools, equipment, and jigs properly.
• Following plant safety rules and keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Supporting other tasks or jobs as needed to meet production goals.
