Job summary

Goldshield in Decatur, Indiana, manufactures fiberglass parts and is part of Terex Corporation. A Cutting and Grinding Associate will cut fiberglass parts to size and grind them to thickness, ensuring quality and safety on the production floor.

You will use and maintain cutting/grinding tools, follow safety rules, and support other production tasks to meet daily goals. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed; benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

Preferred 1-year experience in manufacturing, fiberglass cutting, grinding, or production.
Preferred high school diploma or GED.
Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
Ability to safely use cut/grind tools and equipment.
Ability to follow directions, maintain attendance expectations, and meet production standards.

Responsibilities

Cut fiberglass parts to the correct size and grinding them to required thickness specifications.
Perform cut and grind functions while meeting quality and quantity standards.
Using and maintaining tools, equipment, and jigs properly.
Following plant safety rules and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Supporting other tasks or jobs as needed to meet production goals.
