Job summary

Goldshield in Decatur, Indiana is seeking an Assembler I for fiberglass cut and grind duties within a full-time daytime shift. You will cut fiberglass parts to size, grind to thickness, and maintain quality while adhering to safety standards.

Preferred candidates have 1 year manufacturing or fiberglass experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to complete safety and training certifications. This role supports production goals in a facilities environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, fiberglass, cutting, grinding, finishing, or production preferred.
• Ability to safely use cut/grind tools and equipment.
• Must complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to follow directions, maintain attendance, and meet production standards.
• Drug and background screening successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Cut fiberglass parts to the correct size and grind to required thickness.
• Perform cut and grind tasks while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Use and maintain tools, equipment, and jigs properly.
• Adhere to plant safety rules and keep the area clean and organized.
• Support other tasks to meet production goals.
