Job summary

Ripple Fiber is looking for a Maintenance Technician to manage the maintenance and repair of outside plant fiber optic infrastructure. This role requires advanced troubleshooting abilities and effective use of tools like OTDR and fusion splicers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in technical fieldwork (OSP/ISP or similar).
• Basic knowledge of optical fiber networks or WiFi.
• Familiarity with tools like OTDR, fusion splicers, or eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and fix OSP fiber optic systems (aerial, underground).
• Locate and repair fiber faults using OTDR and power meters.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Skills

Technical fieldwork experience
