Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in technical fieldwork (OSP/ISP or similar).
• Willingness to learn about fiber networks or WiFi.
• OSHA or safety certifications for OSP work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair OSP fiber optic systems.
• Locate and repair fiber faults using appropriate tools.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Skills

Technical fieldwork experience

Basic knowledge of fiber networks or WiFi

Familiarity with OTDR, fusion splicers

Curiosity about TCP/IP

Education

FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) - preferred
