Job summary

Hardy Industries is seeking skilled Fiber Testing and Splicing Technicians to support our growing national client base. Responsibilities include OTDR testing, fusion splicing (when proficient), and fault isolation across critical infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on field work, independent problem solving, and a commitment to quality workmanship in various environments, with travel within coverage territory on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Must have fiber testing experience and ability to troubleshoot complex impairments.
• Certifications in FOA/CFOT/BICSI/Network+ are preferred or 5+ years field fiber experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic testing and splicing across diverse environments.
• OTDR, power meter, light source testing and fiber certification tasks.
• Identify faults, replace jumpers, and document results for project delivery.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and stakeholders.
• Work independently in retail, medical, restaurant, corporate, telecoms, and data center sites.
