Job summary

Conterra Networks in Lafayette, LA is seeking a field technician to install and wire network equipment, pull cables, and test circuits in a customer-facing role.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic hand tools, Ethernet/telephony knowledge, and willingness to travel. You will work with a collaborative team, handle after-hours on-call duties, and contribute to service restoration projects.

Qualifications

• Education requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic hand tools and installation knowledge are required.
• Familiarity with Ethernet cabling, telephony wiring, and fiber optics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install or mount electronic equipment in racks or on walls.
• Pull and terminate cables, test basic circuits and POTS lines.
• Troubleshoot and restore customer service with internal teams.
• Travel outside the assigned area and be on call after hours.
