Job summary

RTC Communications seeks an Installation and Repair Technician to install, maintain, and repair customer premises equipment and broadband services. The role covers fiber, copper, and Ethernet facilities, testing, and on-site troubleshooting across RTC locations.

You will splice and verify fiber/copper networks and communicate findings to customers with professionalism. Travel to customer premises is required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in telecommunications or related field preferred; related experience considered.
• FTTP installation/maintenance experience desired (2+ years).
• CPE installation/maintenance experience desired (2+ years).
• Current IT certifications or vendor training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair customer premises equipment and services.
• Install fiber, copper, and Ethernet facilities and related equipment.
• Splice and test fiber and copper systems; diagnose issues and resolve.
• Communicate service problems and solutions clearly to customers.
• Document installation and service records accurately; travel to sites.
