Job summary

Future Infrastructure, LLC is seeking a skilled fiber splicing technician to support field and plant operations. Responsibilities include splicing, testing, and documenting fiber connections per design specs.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, ability to work day and night shifts, and on-call availability, with physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs and climbing ladders.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and willingness for on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic cables (fusion splicing) both outside and inside plant.
• Prepare, dress, and store fiber cabling to specs and assemble equipment.
• Perform live fiber cut-overs during maintenance hours.
• Read, update splice documentation and maps.
• Troubleshoot damaged fiber effectively.
