Job summary

Future Infrastructure, LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking a lead fiber splicer to oversee daily splicing activities and coordinate a splicing crew. You will perform fusion splicing, ribbon or loose-tube prep, and cable enclosure work while organizing fibers and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities include OTDR testing, fault diagnosis, safety compliance, and reporting progress to project leadership. Prior lead experience and strong fiber knowledge are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on fiber optic splicing experience; lead or crew-lead preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSP fiber construction, splice cases, cabinets, and fiber management.
  • Proficient with fusion splicers, cleavers, OTDRs, power meters, and common test equipment.
  • Ability to read fiber diagrams, splice matrices, construction prints, and project specs.
  • Ability to lead a small field crew and communicate with teams.

Job description
