Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with clean record.
• DOT physical exam and valid medical card required.
• At least two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Pole climber certification or ability to demonstrate is preferred.
• Knowledge of telecom network structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot post-installation circuits.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade fiber sheaths and mid-sheath fibers as needed.
• Document work via daily production reports and maps.
• Provide guidance to other splicers and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
