Job summary

TCS Communications, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer to complete fusion of optical fibers and maintain our telecom networks. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test circuits after installation, and document material usage and maps daily.

Qualifications include 18+, U.S. work authorization, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with clean record, and a DOT medical card. Splicing experience and pole climbing certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with clean record.
• DOT physical exam with valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work performed through daily production reports and map markings.
