Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer in a hands-on role based in the United States. You will fuse optical fibers and service telecommunication networks, performing aerial and underground splicing with attention to safety and quality standards.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a DOT medical exam, and hold a valid driver’s license. Prior splicing experience of 6 months or telecom experience of 1 year is preferred. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.
• Pass DOT physical exam and obtain valid medical card.
• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground, with guidance.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network circuit after installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely work at heights and move between underground and aerial sites.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Document work in daily production reports and update maps/material records.
• Other duties as assigned.
