Job summary

Frontier Communications Corporation is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in City of Industry, CA to perform service order and repair activities on fiber network facilities, from the customer-serving terminal to the residence.

The role includes installation and maintenance of voice, data, and video equipment, installation of inside wiring, and customer training on new equipment. Candidates must pass background checks and meet California driver requirements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with fiber network concepts and field technician tasks.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber network services from customer terminal to premises.
• Install and configure routers and set-top boxes; assist with PC software as needed.
• Work with inside wiring, such as Cat 5E or coaxial cables, and perform testing
• Interact with the customer to ensure satisfaction and provide follow-up as needed.
• Follow schematic work order drawings to determine job specs and equipment needs.
