Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a network design engineer to rapidly design and activate commercial services across fiber and PON networks. You will implement standards and support field operations to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with company guidelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years in Datacom design, and strong Cisco/Ciena CLI experience. Collaboration with NOC, engineering, and vendors is essential, with a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Datacom network design and architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco and/or Ciena CLI configuration.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, and IP/MPLS concepts.
• Familiarity with fiber access technologies (G-PON/XGS-PON) and CWDM/DWDM is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design and activate commercial customer services across fiber and PON networks.
• Develop and enforce operating and engineering standards for reliable service delivery.
• Support Field Operations to ensure circuit activation meets specifications.
• Collaborate with Networks, NOC, and Support teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide engineering guidance on new technologies and initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting, maintenance windows, and vendor relationship management.
