Job summary

Breezeline is hiring for a hybrid role in the Columbus, OH area, focused on rapidly and reliably designing and activating commercial customer services across network access technologies including fiber and PON. You will implement and enforce standards to ensure stable product delivery and support Field Operations in circuit activation in line with company guidelines.

The role requires deep Datacom experience, Cisco/Ciena CLI expertise, and knowledge of fiber technologies.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Datacom network design and architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco and/or Ciena CLI device configuration.
• Knowledge of CWDM/DWDM deployment infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to enhance the customer service and experience.
• Coordinate with system field staff on dedicated fiber operations and hardware changes.
• Liaise with Network Engineers, NOC, and Tech Support to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.
• Provide engineering support for new or existing technologies and operational initiatives.
• Support infrastructure tools and systems such as Viavi Fusion, OcularIP, ServiceNow.
• Manage priorities and meet daily objectives while advancing long-term projects.
• Grow scripting and automation initiatives such as ZTP.
• Evaluate fiber commercial solutions with senior management.
