Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a skilled engineer to design and activate commercial customer services across fiber and PON networks. You will implement and enforce operating standards and collaborate with field operations to ensure consistent activation deployments.

Key responsibilities include supporting network engineering, coordinating hardware changes, and guiding field teams. A Bachelor's in engineering and 4+ years in Datacom are required, with several certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Datacom network design and architecture.
• Minimum 4 years with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, RIPv2.
• Minimum 4 years of TCP/IP and IP/MPLS networking knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco and/or Ciena CLI device configuration.
• Knowledge of ONT/OLT PON infrastructures and CWDM/DWDM.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to enhance customer service and experience.
• Coordinate fiber operations and hardware changes for headend and NID.
• Liaise with Network Engineers, NOC, and tech support for end-to-end solutions.
• Provide engineering support for new or existing technologies and initiatives.
• Support tools like Viavi Fusion, OcularIP, ServiceNow; manage priorities.
• Participate in scripting and automation initiatives (ZTP).
