Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a highly capable Datacom Network Engineer to design and activate commercial customer services across fiber and PON environments. You will implement standards for stable product delivery and support field operations to keep circuits active and within spec.

Collaboration with engineering teams will drive scalable solutions. The role requires deep networking knowledge, hands-on experience with fiber technologies, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Datacom network design and architecture.
• Proficiency with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, RIPv2.
• Strong TCP/IP and IP/MPLS networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to enhance customer service and experience.
• Coordinate fiber operations and hardware changes with field staff.
• Liaise with Network Engineers, NOC, and Tech Support for end-to-end solutions.
• Provide engineering support for new or existing technologies and initiatives.
• Support tools and systems like Viavi Fusion, OcularIP, ServiceNow.
• Manage priorities and daily objectives while advancing long-term projects.
• Lead scripting and automation initiatives including ZTP.
• Evaluate fiber solutions to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Oversee maintenance windows and vendor relationships.
