Job summary

Breezeline is hiring a senior network design professional to rapidly design and activate commercial customer services across fiber and PON networks. You will align operations with company standards and collaborate with field and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes automation, vendor coordination, and ensuring service quality, with opportunities to influence network strategy and growth within Breezeline's footprint.

Qualifications

• Datacom network design and architecture expertise.
• Experience with Cisco and/or Ciena CLI configuration.
• Proficiency with provisioning elements such as TFTP/TOD/CM files.
• Knowledge of ONT and OLT PON infrastructures.
• CWDM/DWDM deployment knowledge.
• Familiarity with G-PON/XGS-PON/E-PON technologies.
• Experience with testing protocols like Y.1564 and RFCs such as RFC 2544.
• Strong TCP/IP, IP/MPLS understanding and routing protocols incl. OSPF/BGP.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stay under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support efforts to enhance customer service and experience.
• Coordinate fiber operations and hardware changes for Headend and NID.
• Liaise with Network Engineers, Architects, NOC, and Tech Support to deliver solutions.
• Provide engineering support for new or existing technologies and initiatives.
• Support tools such as Viavi Fusion, OcularIP, and ServiceNow.
• Manage priorities effectively while meeting daily objectives.
• Grow scripting and automation involvement, e.g., Zero Touch Provisioning.
• Advise on dedicated fiber commercial solutions to ensure customer experience.
• Plan maintenance windows and coordinate with required departments.
• Engage vendors to evaluate/test equipment and deliver solutions.
