Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Fiber Installation Technician to set up and maintain fiber optic networks in Akron, OH. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot services, ensuring reliable connectivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include educating customers, maintaining equipment, and working flexible hours, including overtime and on-call. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services per guidelines.
• Install, setup and configure all equipment.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review requested services with the customer to ensure understanding.
• Educate the customer on product and service usage.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment; operate in all weather conditions.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform all assigned duties.
