Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Cable Installation Technician in Akron, OH. You will safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver’s license, and prior installation experience. You may perform overtime, travel, and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cable installation or a related field preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve service issues.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Explain services and usage to customers to ensure understanding.
• Maintain, clean, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and be available for on-call/after-hours as needed.
