Job summary

CS Contract Solutions is seeking a Fiber I&R Technician in Pickford, MI. You will install, maintain, and repair fiber optic services for residential and commercial customers as a full-time W-2 employee deployed to carrier projects in the region.

Expect a production-based pay model with training and field support to ensure quality installations and customer education. Primary duties include site installs, service verification, safety adherence, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Fiber optic internet and home phone service experience preferred; paid training provided for all skill levels.
• Must have own vehicle and safety equipment per company checklist.
• Smartphone, laptop, and Microsoft Excel required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Complete pre-install work orders and post-install verification of service.
• Provide product education to customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Observe OSHA safety rules and safe work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Log work orders and time in internal systems and keep scheduled appointments.
• Meet minimum metrics for Repeats, Productivity, and Completions.
• Assist other technicians and adapt to new processes.
