Job summary

Crone Communications is looking for an experienced Fiber Field Supervisor to join our growing team!

We need a dependable, hands‑on leader who can keep our technicians moving, solve problems in the field, and step in when situations get complicated.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Monitor technician schedules and ensure crews are on time and where they need to be
• Answer calls and provide support to technicians throughout the day
• Help technicians troubleshoot difficult installations and field issues
• Troubleshoot fiber optic systems and connectivity issues
• Perform fiber optic repairs when needed
• Complete go-backs, callbacks, and service corrections
• Handle complicated or escalated customer situations professionally
• Work directly with technicians to identify problems and find solutions
• Keep crews on schedule and ensure all technicians are completed by 7:00 PM
• Communicate with management regarding field issues, delays, customer concerns, and technician performance
• Lead by example and maintain high standards for quality, safety, and customer service

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Fiber optic experience — required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Comfortable working in the field and assisting technicians hands‑on
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
• Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations
• Reliable, organized, and accountable

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be available to support the field team as needed
