The Technician, Field Operations – Enterprise & Business, is responsible for the installation, activation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber-based services for Enterprise and Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) customers. This role delivers high-quality connectivity solutions, including Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Ethernet, VoIP, and other business services while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in fiber optics are a plus. Minimum of six (6) months to two (2) years of experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, or field operations. Knowledge of:

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
OUTDOOR REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or wind. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time. Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds as needed. Tolerate exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and uneven or slippery surfaces. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) during all applicable tasks.
Standard daily travel to assigned territories is required for this position (up to 30% of the time within a 10-mile radius).
