Job summary

Bristol Industries LLC is seeking a Drop Installer II to install, troubleshoot, and maintain buried and aerial fiber and copper drop cables connecting the main network to customer locations in Hawaii.

In this role you will interact with customers, use hand tools and test equipment, and ensure safety compliance while delivering reliable service and clear documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 to 18 months of experience in the field or related area.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Installing new and repairing existing aerial and buried fiber or copper drops according to industry and company standards.
• Communicating effectively with customers, identifying optimal drop bury paths, and explaining the installation process.
• Utilizing hand tools, and test equipment for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Operating test equipment to check signal strength and identify issues and performing troubleshooting and repairs on drop facilities.
• Adhering to safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
• Completing all necessary paperwork, including job reports, trouble tickets, and inventory management records.
