Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 to 18 months of experience in the field or related area.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and repairs of aerial and buried fiber or copper drops per standards.
• Communicate with customers, identify drop burial paths, explain the installation process.
• Use hand tools and test equipment for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Operate test equipment to verify signal strength and identify issues; perform repairs.
• Adhere to safety regulations, procedures, and standards.
• Complete paperwork including job reports, trouble tickets, and inventory records.
• Mentor junior Drop Installers I when needed.
• Restore worksite and utilities after project completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
