You will install and repair drops, interact with customers, operate test equipment, and document findings while following safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years field experience in telecom installation.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performing installations and repairs of aerial and buried fiber or copper drops according to industry and company standards.
• Communicating effectively with customers, identifying optimal drop bury paths, and explaining the installation process.
• Using hand tools and test equipment for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Testing and troubleshooting with test equipment and performing repairs on drop facilities.
• Adhering to safety regulations and company procedures.
• Completing paperwork, tickets, and inventory records.
• Mentorship: potentially training and mentoring Drop Installers I.
• Restoring worksite after project completion.
