Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is hiring an entry-level FHA Mortgage Origination Representative to support a federal agency initiative. You will handle customer inquiries by phone and email, applying FHA guidelines and procedures while logging interactions in our system.

Ideal candidates bring FHA loans experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Location is on-site; benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least two years working with FHA loans (e.g. loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer) plus an additional year of customer service or contact center background, or at least three years of loan origination with conventional or other government-backed loans.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance (includes credit check and background investigation).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via calls and emails about FHA guidelines and procedures.
• Use knowledge databases to locate answers for clients.
• Follow standard operating procedures across topics, systems, and contact channels.
• Document all contacts in a database.
• Stay up to date on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
