Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an FHA Mortgage Origination Representative to support a federal agency initiative. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service for mortgage lending inquiries via phone and email, while adhering to FHA guidelines and documented procedures.

Candidates will use multiple systems to retrieve information, document interactions, and stay current on FHA processes.

Qualifications

• Capable of navigating multiple computer systems and using search tools to provide information.
• Excellent time management and dependability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Two years FHA loan experience (origination/processing/underwriting) plus one year of customer service, or three years of loan origination with government-backed loans.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service via calls and emails in FHA guidelines and procedures.
• Use knowledge databases to locate answers for clients.
• Follow standard operating procedures across topics, systems, and contact channels.
• Document all contacts in a database.
• Stay up to date on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
