Job summary

CMTS is seeking an experienced FF&E & Relocation Project Manager II to support major capital projects in the Los Angeles region. You will oversee FF&E planning, relocation activities, budgets, schedules, procurement, installation, and closeout, collaborating with architects, engineers, vendors, and campus staff.

The role requires 7–10 years of PM experience, expertise in furniture procurement, move management, and familiarity with public works processes.

Qualifications

7–10 years of project management and coordination experience involving move/relocation, FF&E, or interior design.
Experience managing furniture procurement, installation, relocation, and closeout.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and furniture drawings.

Responsibilities

Manage FF&E and relocation activities for new construction, renovation, and swing-space projects.
Develop and manage FF&E project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and installation plans.
Coordinate FF&E programming, specifications, furniture layouts, quotes, purchasing, delivery, installation, and closeout.
Develop move scopes and coordinate pre-move, move, post-move, and occupancy activities.
Coordinate with Procurement on FF&E purchasing using public-sector bidding processes.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and user groups to define scope, schedule, and budget.
